Anything
How Much Does a Resin Class Cost?
OzArtz Resin workshops start from $125 per person. Our larger River Board workshop is $185 per person and includes a board that is approximately 50% larger than our standard projects. All materials are included in the workshop price. On the day, you’ll also have access to our store, where you can purchase a range of resin supplies including moulds, DIY kits, pigments, resin and other accessories if you’d like to continue creating at home.
Is Resin Art Safe for Beginners?
Yes. Modern resin products have come a long way in both safety and ease of use. At OzArtz, we exclusively use Resi Art Resin, an Australian-made resin that is non-toxic, low odour and specifically designed to be user-friendly. Our workshops provide gloves and step-by-step guidance, making resin art a safe and enjoyable activity for beginners with no previous experience.
Do I Need Art Experience for Resin?
No. Our workshops are beginner-friendly and suitable for people with no previous art or resin experience. Our experienced instructors will guide you Step-by-step during the class.
What Will I Create in My First Resin Class?
You’ll create either a Resin Lazy Susan, an Open Pour Serving Board, or our 50% larger River Board. You will need to collect your project the next day from the venue to allow time for it to cure (harden). No previous resin experience is required.
What Should I Bring to a Resin Class?
You don’t need to bring anything, as everything is provided. You can wear older clothes or bring an apron to protect your clothing. You’re welcome to bring small items to embed in your project. Embedded items must be no thicker than 5mm for Open Pour Boards and Lazy Susans, or 13mm for River Boards. If you’re unsure whether an item is suitable, feel free to ask before the workshop.
*We suggest that you don’t bring valuable or irreplaceable items.
Can Kids Take Resin Classes?
Yes. Children are welcome to attend our resin workshops when accompanied and supervised by a participating adult. We have had children as young as 9 enjoy our classes, however we let parents and guardians decide whether their child is suitable for the workshop environment. All children must remain under the supervision of their attending adult.
How Long Does a Resin Class Take?
Our classes run for 2 hours for each resin workshop. How long you will take is depending on your design and how much time you spend creating your own piece. There is no need to rush, and our instructors are available to guide you.
What's Included in Class Materials?
All materials needed to complete your project are included in the workshop price. Included is Resi Art resin with a selection of 10 Resi Art metallic resin colours, mixing cups, stirrers, gloves and other essential supplies.
We Use Resi Art Resin Exclusively

Informative and definitely “Resin #101” in the step by step instructions. No “stupid” questions and as much or as little help as you need. Class was informal, at a pace that wasn’t rushed and zero intimidation as a total novice.
Amazing how we all started with the same instructions and yet no two pieces were vaguely similar. Great family activity.
Enjoyable and highly recommended.
Informative and definitely "Resin #101" in the step by step instructions.

Amazing time at the Resin Art Class
“I had an amazing time at the resin art class led by Craig and Geoff. They were both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and fun, making the session perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike. Craig explained the process clearly and safely, while Geoff offered great tips on colour and design. The class had plenty of materials, and we were encouraged to experiment and create freely. Their supportive and laid-back teaching style made the experience both relaxing and inspiring.
By the end, I had a beautiful piece of resin art to take home, and a new hobby to dive into. Highly recommend this class if you’re looking to get creative!"
